Easy Air Fryer Pork Kabobs with Bell Peppers and Onions

By Joe

Welcome to The Oven Diaries, where we're bringing the flavors of summer grilling indoors with minimal effort! Today, we're creating Easy Air Fryer Pork Kabobs that combine tender pork cubes with sweet bell peppers and onions on convenient skewers. Using your Plum Chef Air Fryer Oven, you can enjoy these delicious kabobs year-round, with none of the outdoor grill hassle and all of the fantastic flavor.

The magic of this recipe lies in the high-heat air frying technology of your Plum Chef oven. The AIR FRY function at 450°F perfectly sears the pork cubes, locking in their natural juices while creating a beautifully browned exterior. Meanwhile, the bell peppers and onions become tender-crisp and slightly caramelized, providing the perfect sweet contrast to the savory pork. The result is a well-balanced, colorful meal that's as appealing to the eye as it is to the palate.

Whether you're meal prepping for the week or need a quick dinner solution, these pork kabobs are incredibly versatile and family-friendly. Let's thread our way to a delicious, healthy meal that comes together in minutes!

Air Fryer Pork Kabobs with Bell Peppers and Onions

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Temperature: 230°C/450°F
Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 boneless pork chops, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • ½ yellow onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • ½ bell pepper (any color), cut into 1-inch pieces

  • Spray oil, as needed

  • Kosher salt and fresh pepper to taste

  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley, lemon wedges, or chopped herbs

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. Prepare Skewers: Thread pork cubes, onion pieces, and bell pepper pieces onto skewers, alternating the ingredients for even cooking and attractive presentation.

    2. Season: Spray all sides of the assembled kabobs with oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.

    3. Arrange for Cooking: Place the kabobs on the Baking/Drip Pan in a single layer, making sure they aren't touching for optimal air circulation.

    4. Position in Oven: Place the pan in the oven in the middle rack position.

    5. Set Cooking Function: Set the Timer Knob to 10 minutes, Temperature Knob to 450°F, and Function Knob to Air Fry.

    6. Cook: Air-fry for 5 minutes, then carefully turn the kabobs over using tongs. Continue air-frying for an additional 5 minutes, or until the pork reaches your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender with slight charring.

    7. Serve: Transfer the kabobs to a serving plate, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.

Chef's Tip: For extra flavor, marinate the pork cubes in your favorite marinade for 30 minutes before threading. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20-30 minutes before using to prevent burning. The pork is perfectly cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Let rest for 3 minutes before serving for juicier results.
