Healthy Oven Favorites: Baked Sweet Potato and Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Plum Chef

In this episode, we’re using the Plum Chef Air Fryer Oven Series to prepare two crowd-pleasing side dishes — Baked Sweet Potato and Bacon Wrapped Asparagus.
Both are cooked with precision, rich in flavor, and surprisingly easy to make.

🍠 Recipe 1: Baked Sweet Potato (230 °C · 35 min)

Ingredients:

  • Sweet potatoes

Directions:

  1. Place the sweet potatoes on the baking pan.

  2. Put the pan on rack Position 2.

  3. Set the Plum Chef Oven to VEGETABLES at 230 °C and bake for 35 minutes, or until tender and caramelized.

Pro Tip: Pierce the potatoes with a fork before baking for even heat circulation and a fluffier interior.



🥓 Recipe 2: Bacon Wrapped Asparagus (230 °C · 10 min)

Ingredients:

  • 500 g asparagus

  • 6 slices bacon

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Trim asparagus to 12–15 cm in length. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  2. Wrap 5–6 asparagus spears with one slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.

  3. Place on a foil-lined baking pan and insert into rack Position 3.

  4. Set the Plum Chef Oven to ROAST at 230 °C for 10 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender.
